Helen Barrass started her music career as a Production Assistant for cult music festival All Tomorrow’s Parties in 2003. Over a ten year period she worked all the festivals across UK, US and Australia working across artist liaison, hospitality and stage management.
Following a range of marketing and publicity internships with Filter Music Marketing (Los Angeles), Blue Ghost Publicity (New York), Wild Promotions (London) and touring the West Coast with punk band The Slits, she moved into a full-time marketing role at Warp Records in London from early 2007 until late 2013.
In October 2013, Helen joined the team at AWAL (part of Kobalt Music) and is currently Senior Marketing Director for a wide roster of successful artists including Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Little Simz, Tom Misch, Laura Marling, The Wombats, Todd Terje, Nicolas Jaar, and Bat For Lashes.
