Yamamemaru entered the world of Clubbing in the 90s. Disciple of the DJ Calm collective in Tokyo, she was part of the family that organized the Bound for Everywhere parties. This led her to want to know the origins of the movement. This is how she ended up living in NYC in 2010 to learn about the emblematic The Loft Party by David Mancuso. In 2016 she moved to Barcelona where she found a place in the Salvadiscos DJs collective and became part of the resident DJ crew. Her sets are like eclectic, long and unconventional trips ranging from Downtempo and hypnotic melodies to syncopated and electronic bits.
